Decathlon Launches €999 Rockrider e-MTB
Decathlon has launched the Rockrider E-Actv 100, an affordable electric mountain bike priced at €999. It features rear hub motor, 356Wh battery with 70km range, front fork suspension and torque sensor for smooth power delivery.
Coquitlam Considers Extending E-Scooter & E-Bike Pilot
Coquitlam may extend its shared e-bike and e-scooter pilot until March 31, 2027, with a possible one year extension. Since June 2023, 15k users have taken 106k+ trips, with e-scooters accounting for 94% of rides.

Westminster Expands Permanent E-Bike Parking
Westminster City Council will make 177 e-bike parking bays permanent after an 18-month trial of 350 bays. With 600k monthly bike trips, the council aims to reduce clutter. By March, 41 new cycle hangers will add 246 secure spaces for residents.
Bird Canada Relaunching E-Scooters in Windsor
Bird Canada plans to relaunch e-scooters and e-bikes around March 17 in Windsor and Tecumseh. Rides cost $1.15 to unlock and $0.30–$0.40 per minute. Service may run until November, depending on the weather.
Dubai Reports 254 E-Scooter Accidents in 2024
Dubai recorded 254 e-scooter and bicycle accidents in 2024, with 10 deaths and 259 injuries, including 17 serious cases. The RTA has introduced digital permits, safety standards, and expanded safe paths to improve mobility and reduce accidents.
Shared E-Scooters and Bikes Return in Tallinn
In Tallinn, Bolt, Tuul and Rekola resume e-scooter and bike rentals on March 1 after a three month winter break. The city is expanding its designated parking system from the centre to Kalamaja and Kadriorg to reduce clutter and improve order.

Lime Bikes Return to Spokane
Lime bikes and scooters return to Spokane for 2025 under a 2-year contract approved in June 2024. Lime pays the city $17k annually plus 75 cents per vehicle daily. In 2022 and 2023, the program generated about $190k yearly. Since 2018, 600k riders have taken 2.7m trips.
Shared E-Scooters and E-Bikes in Vernon
Vernon partners with Bird Canada for shared e-scooters and e-bikes under a one-year, extendable contract, replacing Neuron Mobility. The program aligns with B.C.'s e-scooter pilot through April 2028 and will launch around March 3.

Veo E-Scooters Introduced in Manhattan, Kansas
E-scooters return to Manhattan as Kansas State and the City partner with Veo to deploy 400 Astro scooters. Previously, shared scooters were available from August 2020 to December 2023, before LINK ended operations and recalled them. 412k trips were recorded during this period.
Sydney Expands Shared Bike Parking
Sydney's first on-street shared bike parking in Haymarket saw over 5,000 trips last year. The city is expanding to Potts Point, Paddington, and Chippendale using former no-stopping zones, adding to the 120 existing parking areas.

Segway Unveils E150S E-Moped, Launching in Europe
Segway unveils the E150S E-Moped, a more powerful successor to the E110S and E125S, launching in Europe in late 2025. It features a 2.7 kW motor (3.6 kW peak), 45 kph top speed, expandable battery for up to 180 km range, and fast charging under 2.5 hours.
Hobart Renews E-Scooter Program
Hobart City Council will continue e-scooter services and start a new permit process, possibly adding e-bikes and better parking controls. E-scooter usage in Hobart has dropped to a third of 2022 levels (41.4k trips), averaging 14.8k trips per month in 2024. Total distance travelled fell from 70.5k km in 2022 to 22.9k km in 2024. Challenges like parking issues, safety concerns, and infrastructure needs have contributed to the decline. Beam is the city's sole operator, with its license expiring in May.
