NAVEE Returns to MME26 With Expanded Product Lineup
Micromobility company NAVEE will return to Micromobility Europe 2026 in Berlin as the event’s largest exhibitor, showcasing its biggest product lineup to date at booth D41. The company says it will unveil several new fleet-focused micromobility solutions beyond its core categories, with a focus on durable hardware, integrated systems, and improving operator ROI. NAVEE also highlighted its growing global presence and expanding manufacturing capabilities ahead of the event.
Swapfiets Acquires Dance to Expand E-Bike Subscriptions
Dutch bike subscription company Swapfiets has acquired premium e-bike subscription brand Dance, strengthening its position in Europe’s growing bike subscription market. The deal adds more than 11k e-bikes to Swapfiets’ fleet, bringing its total to over 75k subscription e-bikes across 45 cities.
Dance will continue operating as a separate brand, with Swapfiets focusing on service-led subscriptions while Dance maintains its digital-first approach. The acquisition also strengthens Swapfiets’ presence in key cities including Paris, Berlin, and Hamburg.

Swedish micromobility operator Voi has launched a fleet of 350 shared e-bikes across Aberdeen, marking the company’s latest expansion in the UK. The rollout introduces dockless pedal-assisted bikes at key locations across the city, offering residents a new low-emission transport option alongside public transit. Voi said the launch is aimed at improving everyday urban mobility and supporting Aberdeen’s broader sustainability ambitions as demand for shared micromobility continues to grow across the UK.

New data shows nearly 3k powered cycles and e-bikes were stolen in 2025, a 21% increase from the previous year. The surge comes as operators like Lime and Voi continue scaling rental services across the capital, where London now hosts more than 75k shared e-bikes, the highest number among major European cities. Industry experts say the growing value, portability, and popularity of e-bikes are increasingly making them a target for organised theft.
Newcastle Ends E-Scooter Trial
Newcastle’s shared e-scooter trial, launched in February 2021, comes to its end as uncertainty continues around the future of rental e-scooters in the UK. Operated by Neuron across Newcastle and neighbouring areas, the scheme was introduced as part of the government’s wider micromobility trials, but ongoing delays to legislation on private e-scooters have left the long-term future of the service unclear despite growing public use.
Lectric Unveils the Upgraded XPress2 E-Bike Lineup
Arizona-based e-bike company Lectric eBikes has launched the second-generation XPress2 commuter and cruiser e-bikes, bringing premium upgrades to the budget-friendly category at a starting price of $1,399. Designed for everyday riders, the new models feature a 750W Stealth M24 motor, up to 60 miles of range, hydraulic brakes, upgraded suspension, and Lectric’s new dual-sensor “XPerience Switch” system that lets riders toggle between torque and cadence assist modes. Known for making affordable, feature-packed electric bikes accessible to mainstream consumers, Lectric continues to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing urban mobility market.
Specialized Launches the Vado 3 X E-Bike
California-based cycling giant Specialized, has unveiled the new full-suspension Vado 3 X commuter e-bike, blending urban practicality with off-road capability. Featuring up to 810W of peak power, 120 mm rear suspension, and an 840 Wh battery, the premium e-bike reflects Specialized’s growing focus on high-performance “SUV-style” electric bikes built for both city commuting and adventure riding.
LiveWire Acquires Dust Moto
Milwaukee-based electric motorcycle company LiveWire has acquired U.S. electric dirt bike startup Dust Moto, marking its first acquisition and a strategic move into the growing off-road EV segment. Backed by Harley-Davidson, LiveWire plans to use Dust Moto’s lightweight electric dirt bike platform alongside its own engineering and manufacturing capabilities to accelerate its expansion beyond on-road electric motorcycles.
Yozma Expands Its Electric Off-Road Lineup
Electric off-road brand Yozma has unveiled the matte black edition of its IN 10 Pro electric dirt bike, targeting the growing demand for lightweight, high-performance off-road EVs in the U.S. Powered by a 5500W brushless motor with a top speed of 50 mph and up to 60 miles of range, the IN 10 Pro is designed to bridge the gap between traditional dirt bikes and next-generation electric mobility. Founded as an emerging player in the electric powersports segment, Yozma focuses on accessible electric dirt bikes built for recreational riders and entry-level off-road enthusiasts.
Delaware Seeks Stricter E-Bike Labeling Standards
Delaware lawmakers are advancing the “Truth in E-Bike Marketing Act,” a bill aimed at requiring clearer labeling and written disclosures for electric bikes sold in the state. The legislation would reinforce the three-class e-bike system based on speed and throttle assistance, while preventing higher-powered electric motorcycles and mopeds from being inaccurately marketed as standard e-bikes, an issue lawmakers say has created growing safety and enforcement challenges.
