Navee and Dott’s Partnership Reaches Its Fourth City
Navee and Dott have expanded their collaboration to a fourth European city, marking another milestone in a partnership that began with a brief supplier meeting during the pandemic. The companies have evolved from a traditional supplier-operator relationship to jointly developing next-generation shared e-scooters designed for improved durability, reliability, and operational efficiency. With vehicles already deployed across multiple European cities, the partners are now working on a 2027 product roadmap aimed at delivering smarter and more resilient shared mobility fleets.

Why Urban Logistics Needs New Vehicles, Not Bigger Ones
Minimal outlines a vision for urban logistics built around purpose-built, right-sized electric vehicles rather than larger vans designed for maximum payloads. The company says most urban delivery routes operate well below vehicle capacity, making oversized fleets inefficient, costly and ill-suited to modern city logistics. By designing vehicles around real-world routes and operator needs, Minimal believes cities can reduce congestion, lower emissions and improve last-mile delivery efficiency while creating a more sustainable logistics ecosystem.
Denver Expands Bike Network with New Bridge
Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Transportation and Hamon Infrastructure, has completed the installation of two 180-foot bridge spans for the new West Jewell Avenue Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge. The temporary closure of Santa Fe Drive was required to safely place the spans for the 30-foot-high, 12-foot-wide structure, which is expected to open in Q1 2027. Funded through the Elevate Denver Bond, the bridge will create a safer connection for people walking, biking and rolling across Santa Fe Drive, linking neighborhoods east and west of the corridor while improving access to the RTD Evans Station.

Stirling Council is set to launch a new dockless e-bike share scheme in late autumn 2026, introducing around 130 e-bikes across 40 GPS-enabled parking locations. Backed by £135k in funding, the three-year pilot will connect key destinations including the city centre, the University of Stirling, the railway station and Stirling Castle. The scheme builds on the city’s active travel investments and follows the success of previous bike-share programmes, which recorded more than 156k trips since 2018.
Trek Expands E-Bike Lineup with Borrego+
US bike manufacturer Trek has expanded its electric bike lineup with the launch of the Borrego+, its first throttle-equipped fat-tire e-bike aimed at both commuters and adventure riders. Powered by a 750W rear hub motor delivering 90 Nm of torque and a 720 Wh removable battery, the Class 2 model offers up to 97 km (60 miles) of range, while a Class 3 Borrego+ S variant is available in select markets. Priced from US$2,499 and available from July 16, the launch marks Trek's move into the fast-growing fat-tire e-bike category, traditionally dominated by direct-to-consumer brands.
DYU Launches SP1 Folding E-Bike
Chinese e-bike manufacturer DYU has introduced the SP1, a lightweight folding e-bike designed for urban commuters. The new model features a 250W rear hub motor, an AI torque sensor, and a removable battery that doubles as a portable power bank for charging electronic devices. With a compact folding frame, integrated smart display, and commuter-focused design, the SP1 aims to combine everyday practicality with portable power for city riders.
YVY launches affordable 1500W fat-tire e-bike
US e-bike brand YVY has introduced its 1.5kW fat-tire electric bike, targeting budget-conscious riders with a starting price of US$599. The e-bike features a 750W nominal (1.5kW peak) rear hub motor, a 48V 15.6Ah removable battery, 20-inch fat tires, full suspension, and a claimed top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h). With a feature set typically found on more expensive models, the launch aims to make all-terrain electric biking more accessible.
Dorado Launches V3 Electric Dirt Bike
San Francisco-based Dorado Motorsports has unveiled the V3 electric dirt bike and opened pre-orders for the model. The bike features a 36 kW (48 hp) motor, a claimed 80 mph (129 km/h) top speed, and what the company says is the industry’s first 7.2 kWh swappable battery in a full-size electric dirt bike, offering over 70 miles (113 km) of trail range. Pre-orders are now open with a US$100 deposit, with pricing starting at US$10,499.
Atlanta Deploys E-Trikes with Digital Billboards
Atlanta-based startup Purposers has launched a fleet of electric cargo trikes equipped with 32-inch digital displays, highlighting how micromobility vehicles are expanding into new commercial applications beyond passenger transport and deliveries. Operating across high-footfall locations including the Atlanta Beltline, Midtown, Buckhead and around Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the app-managed fleet provides businesses with a zero-emission, mobile advertising platform while demonstrating the versatility of electric cargo vehicles in urban environments.
Sykeruns X5 & X7-The e-Dirt Bike that can change it all?
The review gives a sneak peek into the Chinese manufacturer Sykeruns recently introduced X5 and X7 electric dirt bikes, which is designed to target riders seeking high-performance off-road machines at competitive prices. The lineup features 72V battery systems, powerful mid-drive motors, long-travel suspension and lightweight frames designed for trail riding. Positioned as affordable alternatives to premium electric dirt bikes, the X5 and X7 aim to broaden access to the rapidly growing e-moto segment while offering performance typically found in higher-priced models.
