Micromobility World (Jan 12) returns for a free virtual summit exploring how small vehicles can radically improve our world.
The way we move things and people is changing on a global scale. Fueled by the relentless growth of cities, micromobility devices—including hoverboards, scooters, ebikes, three-wheelers, and everything in-between—have emerged as the world’s most popular EVs, eclipsing cars. A thunderbolt of new vehicles, ideas, and technologies is upending the old paradigm of auto dependency. Yet challenges remain.
This January, join micromobility’s top global builders, leaders, and thinkers for an unprecedented (and 100% free) virtual gathering, in which we’ll explore how we can harness the disruptive power of small electric vehicles to revolutionize cities and build a more sustainable future. Reserve your place.
Kicking things off, we’re thrilled to announce the first talk of Micromobility World.
In a long-awaited meeting of the minds, Horace Dediu, legendary tech analyst and coiner of the term “micromobility,” will join Bird founder and CEO Travis VanderZanden to explore the global trajectory of the multibillion micro-EV industry, from its infancy to the pandemic and beyond.
Bird famously pioneered dockless, shared e-kickscooters in 2017, and in doing so, introduced a whole new mode of clean transport to our urban road networks. Since then, the company has spread to 350+ cities globally. Excitingly, this will be Travis’s first public appearance since Bird went public via SPAC last month, a major milestone.
Stay tuned for more speakers to be announced soon. And join our email list to get all the latest updates.
See you on January 12th ✌️
